2016 has brought upon us a new year and a fresh start, or at least an attempt to revitalize ourselves within the Alliance-Stormwind Community. After some really fantastic brainstorming meetings with the Officer core of House Holt, I present to you the changes you’ll come to see over the next month or so as we adjust to our new structure and events. Please read below the cut (as this is a lengthy post) if you are interested in learning more.
Officers
• Officers have been assigned specific roles within the management of the guild and will be held accountable for their designated tasks and behavior
• They will be privately pulled aside to speak on their performance should at any time it become questionable, at which time their assigned role will be re-evaluated
• If at any time an Officer is deemed unfit, or incapable of performing their role due to personal or real life matters, they will be politely asked to step down from said role
We hold ourselves and our members to a very high standard, and we strive to lead by example. Our present Guild Management is as follows:

• Eryn Holt - Trade Officiate & Trade Faire Coordinator
The Shady Lady (Contact: Imon)
• We are hoping to re-establish our ‘idling’ location at the Shady Lady and the rear open house in the alley (which we consider ‘Holt Hall’) by hosting ‘open venue’ nights for those who prefer the seedy, smokey, dank tavern style environment
• We will also be hosting a monthly exclusive VIP only style evening that will include a private invitation, rsvp guest list and a 5g cover charge. If you are not on this list, we kindly ask that you respect this event and not come just to be a jerk and grief/troll
• House security will be at the door at these events and we kindly ask that you acknowledge the characters portraying such a role and not ignore them or walk through them. Please be as patient as you would be with any other roleplayer in any other situation/scene
Trade Faire (Contact: Ehrynne)
• This will be an organized faction-wide trade vendors faire hosted at Olivia’s Pond
• The event will be a monthly event that will include actual player character trade vendors in a market style set up, raffles/auctions, games and brawlers pit (in the fenced area)
• Vendors will be expected to work with the event coordinator, put their ‘trade’ in their title on their MRP/TRP for identification purposes so that attendees can identify your trade and line up at the appropriate vendors tent
• The first official faire will not be until March to provide appropriate time to work with the event coordinator
Alliances (Contact: Naesala)
• For guilds or groups interested in forging some form of alliance with House Holt
• For guilds or groups interested in a non-aggression treaty
• We have opened our doors to house militant characters, so we will be building up our combatant forces should you require some assistance in your ongoing campaigns
New Ranks
• High Assembly - Officer/Advisory rank
• Regent Vanguard - Guards specific to Adhelin and/or Kaidren
• Lionsguard - Combatant rank
• Assistant - Assistants to those of the High Assembly
• Scholar - Non-combatant rank
• Noble, Civilian and Guest ranks still remain
• Guest rank is a week long trial rank to which the character will not have access to the House communicative device and will be forced to interact with others of the House in order to keep up with what is going on
Internal Affairs
• Members are encouraged to settle their disagreements swiftly and privately but are welcome to ask an officer to assist in mediation
• Members are encouraged to login and hang out in our vent server to help broaden their social environment and get to know others within the guild
• There will be a monthly guild meeting that will include both an IC guild grand feast dinner style meeting where we can eat, socialize and keep the members up to date on anything affecting the House, as well as a quick OOC open floor for any members to bring forward their concerns or ideas
• While we will leave recruitment open at this time, membership will become a much more thorough process to ensure that not only the character is a good fit for the House, but the player is a good fit for the guild
