•It’s being referred to as a continuation! Everything that was canon is still canon, the story is just going in a new direction: “While Leverage centered on a crusade to avenge the death of a child, this series is propelled forward as a redemption story of misdeeds that need amends.” 

•It’s going to be on IMDb TV, which is apparently a channel on Amazon Prime

•Beth Riesgraf, Gina Bellman, and Christian Kane are all going to be series regulars. Aldis Hodge is going to be recurring, based on his shooting schedule for season 2 of another show. Timothy Hutton has recently faced sexual assault allegations and has not been asked back.

•It will also feature Noah Wyle, who produced, directed, and acted for The Librarian(s) which was another Dean Devlin show! 

•I AM VERY EXCITED

small things i appreciate about Leverage:

-the little “whoosh” sound effect Parker will manifest when she’s pulling something out

-Eliot’s accent deepening when they pull a con in an area where it’s the norm

-the way Sophie’s whole face will be very still and only her mouth will move when she’s pulling a con that requires her to act like a professional

-the music over location establishing shots

-friendships with/respect for random civilians

-how many different accents and variations on accents they can all do like damn

-”the only thing more ruthless than a criminal is a politician trying to save his own ass”

-everyone?? knowing a bunch of different languages???

-when it shows them transitioning between con gear/wearing bits of it later when they’re being casual

-the names for the cons

-when they argue over names of the cons
