HEADCANONS 001.

infinite’s real name — like in canon — is ZERO. he was given this name at birth when we was the runt of his siblings. from the get-go, he was told he’d amount to nothing someday, thus made it his life’s work just to prove them wrong. this led him down a dangerous path of doing so “at any cost”, which during adulthood guided him into doing MERCENARY WORK.

his only family were his rag-tag mercenary team known as the JACKAL SQUAD, who inevitably perished by his own hands in the wake of when he first fuses with the phantom ruby. ( not to be confused with his first tangle with it when he fought eggman head-on. )

infinite heavily blamed himself for their demise & let his emotions get the better of him. he got carried away by his anger & hate for himself, for shadow rubbing in how he would never surmount others’s expectations, & for the homicide of his only friends / family. THIS is what led him to overestimate himself with pride & underestimate sonic ; ultimately ending with his defeat by the end of FORCES.

with eggman as his only “friend” or known acquaintance, he is despondently bent on keeping in good faith & spirits of the doctor. this means both neglecting his own boundaries as well as full dedication to eggman’s causes — again, “no matter the cost”. ( in his eyes, he owes EVERYTHING to the doctor for giving him this chance to succeed ; ergo phantom ruby. )

continuing his “no matter the cost” mindset, he GAVE UP half of his brain to the phantom ruby’s control — leading to the siege of his emotive side being shut down for good in exchange for never feeling the weight of guilt & fear again. when his mask is removed, one can see how his right eye, although scarred from teenaged sword practice, is tainted via the ruby’s influence. all he can see through it now are the unlimited fates of a butterfly effect.

RESPECT is all he has left ; in demanding it from others, he in turn grants them the same. if you want personal space, he will never intrude so long as you never lift his mask as asked of you. if you remove it from him, he will personally take that as an initiative to disrespect you via anything that will upset or trigger you as a result. ( the only person allowed without permission to remove his mask — additionally SANS backlash — is DOCTOR EGGMAN. )

Hey uuuuuh I really love your art style like ALOT?? It makes me smile, and the poses are so fluid like an animation, there's so much motion even when still! I just wanted to ask, what are your inspirations? What's your process for drawing/ideas and stuff?? I'm curious!! It's really really pretty and I'm always inspired seeing your arts!!

Uhm, let’s see! I don’t really know a lot of like, inspirations specifically, because I tend to just Snatch from bits of everything, but I do know that I got a lot of reference from the ATLA comics, and a lot of homestuck animations (like, mambostuck and a lullaby for gods), aaandd… actually, I started drawing humans from Tsubasa Reservoir! Haha. My style doesn’t really look like CLAMP anymore but I still hold a deep love for it. And big anime action. uh,, i’m not a character designer, I think it’s REALLY cool but it’s not my interest, so idk if I have specific people I look up to. Spiderverse art book got me currently very eyes emoji tho like! Look at this! this is Jesus Alonso Iglesias vvv

UH - w, okay so my process for ideas is “oh hey this would be cool” (Immediately MUST draw it or I will Die, even if it’s in the middle of class or it’s 2 am Again) FHKJSHSKD — and that’s why I don’t do a lot of big pieces, I have too many new things!! And I get bored! Sometimes I just turn my sketch into my lines for streamlined Hey I Have An Idea Look heheh,, oh, but I do get a lOt of drawing power from music. It’s like shotgunning an energy drink

i survived it

the guy was cool, i was anxious as fuck but it got better and yea he was cool i just didnt have the courage to explicitely tell him i wasnt up to going out this afternoon to whatever the fuck he was going to with his friend, like give me a break i gotta recharge my social batteries but yeah he was ok and we had good convo albeit a little awkward at times, because of me of course because i am awkward but i survived so for now i'm okay i guess i can pat myself on the back and check socializing off my summer chores list
