after everything that had happened over the last week, the girl just needed to let go. needed to forget everything that had happened. forget gunner showing up, forget damon. at this point ivy had lost all faith in love. there was no point when all she managed to do is get hurt. after finding out that damon and cheryl got married the girl was distraught. she dropped anastasia off with her parents and she just needed to get away. she booked herself a hotel room so she didn’t have to see gunner next door. since he was now her neighbour. the girl didn’t really want to see anyone, she just wanted to forget everything. ivy was going to let go, she got herself dressed into one of her favourite dresses before heading out to the club. she texted her sister letting her know that she was okay before turning her phone on do not disturb.  she was now several drinks in and her favourite song started to play. ivy moved through the crowd onto the dance floor before swaying her hips and the music taking control.
