How's your mum?
Oh my goodness, I completely forgot to update about her condition.
She’s doing better! She’d been on oxygen at home for about a month and a half before the pulmonologist told her she didn’t need it anymore.Just last week she had another appointment and her lungs are clear again! They still don’t actually know what was wrong? So far the working diagnosis is that it was a bad case of pneumonia and a reaction to a medication her rheumatologist had prescribed to her (that she had already told him wasn’t something she generally did well on).
I am a little irritated we never got any tests done bc I don’t think that’s quite all that was going on, but things are ok now and I’m more happy than anything else.
Annnnnd bc I might as well, my dad is also doing fine right now. He goes to see his oncologist next Friday and they’re going to be discussing maintenance. He had his last procedure to treat his liver cancer earlier this year.
