hi i have an oc question!! well, more about general worldbuilding i guess haha, but in the setting propin is in, do the gods look exactly like mortals, or are they slightly like... the best way to put it i think would be "uncanny" but not in a bad way, in more of an otherworldly, not mortal way?? ive seen a few fantasy things, as well as a few general things about divinity that depict god/gods to look "normal" enough to pass for mortals, but just otherworldly and ethereal and different enough for mortals to be a bit in awe of them sometimes, while still not realizing theyre gods except in special cases, and im wondering if thats the case here??

alsooo do you have any worldbuilding stuff too that youd like to share?? or a tag for it that i could go through?? im a huge sucker for worldbuilding, i love making my own and i absolutely love reading about what others make too!!

lovely story and setting and characters and art by the way!! if you ever were to make a comic or a book about this story and setting and characters, id buy and read in an instant!! and if you were to post a long-form comic online for it with a patreon to read new chapters early like ive seen a lot of webcomic creators do, i would ABSOLUTELY subscribe, provided i had a job by then!!

(ps i absolutely adore propin being blind, disability in stories is so hard to come by sometimes, and im also curious if you have more physically disabled characters in the setting??)

I have like a lot of sporadic lore for the world building aspect here and here but ive been working on making a carrd for the info to be in one place bc ik a lot of people kept asking for it v_v parousia is very sentimental to me so im a little touchy about it so thats why thats taking forever but im rlly glad u like what i post here and there about it! i want to finish the carrd eventually to make it easier but as of rn thats what i got sorry

as for ur first question the gods more or less appear fully human / mortal but they are capable of shape shifting and often do, while they are known to be beautiful that isnt rlly a hallmark of someone being a god, the biggest sign is lack of shadow / very faint shadow as gods have a fainter tie to the earth than mortals do, most gods donot have childhoods so that is another sign if they cannot produce pictures of that time or cant name certain childhood practices as they usually just respawn on the mountain and go about their business, most gods also possess a just general offputting aura, they arent very socially conscious and tend to be selfish impulsive, so sometimes they’ll like strike a mortal with a lightning bolt and then everyone knows theyre a god yadda yadda and yes i do have many more characters with disabilities im just hyper focused on propin ^_^

i rlly want to make a comic eventually im just not where id wanna be art wise so id rather not do it yet out of respect to it bc parousia genuinely means a lot to me id rlly like to post more on the aes blog and rlly just have a blog centered around that to post on ill get to it eventually ig
