Most assuredly this was the case, she had no idea what was going on or why, and I had no way to explain it to her, which sucks. So, I moved her blanket onto my lap and pet her and talked to her until she did it!

It is not fertilized, and I could eat it, but I plan to, instead, blow it out hollow and dry it so I can hang onto it, maybe send it to a lady I know who paints blown eggs. It would be nice to have it to keep :)
