Got a request from a user on reddit to find more information about the band Hi:BRiD so here's what I uncovered from a few mags:

SHOXX Vol. 199 (September 2009) Interview

This interview promotes their second single ‘Story of Mermaid’

They discuss Kiki recently joining the band. He started as a support member in March and joined the band officially in June. He was initially approached during the band's formation but was in another band at the time.

The band was satisfied with their first single ‘UTOPIA’ and noted it was well received during lives.

‘Story of Mermaid’ is about a mermaid princess’s love and the song itself has a pop feel. The B side on the single ‘deadend’ is quite the opposite, composed by Kiki and on this track JILL uses a “rap death voice.” The third track on the single ‘Poison’ is based on the story of the queen from Snow White.

JILL likes anime, such as Dragonball and One Piece. At the time of the interview he was recently into Skip Beat and Tears to Tiara. He really enjoys Macross 7 because music is used as a weapon and he tends to like anime that has a musical tie in with the plot. He mentions Detroit Metal City and K-ON! as well. He seems really passionate about anime overall based on this interview.

At karaoke, he used to sing mostly jpop songs but as of late he goes mostly with visual kei songs.

He always enjoyed singing as a child and became a vocalist when he was invited to be in a friend's band.

He banter's with Kiryu's vocalist as well about being rival bands and going up against one another during their 2 man live.
