My partner is deep in the Les Mis fandom, and as a consequence, I have a sort of background constant awareness of Les Mis, which makes me associate any mention of bread theft with Jean Valjean. This means that when I listen to "Rent Money" by Bambu, I hear the lyric below and think of 19th century French literature. Cursed. Positively cursed.
