Honestly one of the scariest things I think about Nagare is the fact that his manipulation isn’t even on purpose, he doesn’t even intend to actively manipulate people with the system he created: It’s that he sees it as a means to an end, and it’s the basis of the fair game (world) he wants to create for everyone. His intentions are so pure and childlike (which is also dangerous tbh) and I love that about him, and I wish that the series had actually touched on it more rather than to have the entire cast just brand him as a villain and have him as well as Iwa killed off.
