I noticed that when Ms Cheng looks back and the music is ominous, the camera turns to the direction she's looking and we see this:
The arrow points at a demon. Before the other demons came, there was already one standing there.
Why was he sent beforehand? Maybe to use the miracle blocker? 🤔
Some drawings of my ToH Oc Hazel. The first one is a couple of months old, but that's her basilisk form. Second pic is a lil bit of a spoiler for Enchanting Grom Fright, and the third is a scene from the recent chapter I've written, Really Small Problems.
Hazel is a half witch, half basilisk demon, who seeked refuge in Hexside after escaping the Emperor, hoping it would be the last place the Coven would look. That's where she meets Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity and eventually Liza. I'll reblog and put a link if anybody's interested in reading what I have so far.

Who am I to question those twisted monsters when I have my own demons to hide
Honestly, this is so important for people to understand, we all have our dark places and insecurities that tend to hit us hardest at night when or when we're alone and it is great to know someone is there helping us and loving us even with our problems and hidden demons. Just remember to love yourself.
