Taemin wasn’t himself. Not after what happened on Halloween was revealed. Any curiosity he had in E turned into hatred. People could have been killed, and he didn’t want that on his mind, on his conscious. He had been contacted by E. He himself was redirecting messages for them. But he didn’t know, God, how could he have known what E was plotting? He felt sick, and dirty and used. He was trying to ignore the fact that he was an accomplice, but he was now wasn’t he? Regardless, E made a mistake, Taemin was done being used and being a play toy by others. He was going to crush them, whoever they were. But that started by getting information, information and allies. As much as he didn’t want to do it, Laurent was the next one he wanted on his side. And from the previous encounters, Taemin knew it wasn’t going to be easy, and his chance of success would be unlikely, but he had to try.
When Taemin opened the door to their room, Laurent was inside. Taemin stared for a few seconds before tossing his keys on his desk, and his bag on his computer chair. He supposed now was as good a time as any. He shut the door, and locked it. Letting his gaze fall on Laurent again. He sat on his bed, and narrowed his eyes. He wasn’t sure how direct he should be, considering the fact that he knew Laurent probably didn’t want to get into this. He sighed, and shifted laying on his side, so he was facing Laurent, “So, I know you just want me to shut up about it. But I can’t.” He ran his fingers over his blanket letting his eyes fall to the mattress, “After what E did, I want to end them. And to do that, I need your help, and your honesty.” Not that I deserve it. He thought bitterly as his eyes lifted back to Laurent, “I’m not sure what I can offer in return, but whatever you want, it’s yours.”
