A boy's travel through timelines
I’ve been busy lately, but that doesn’t mean I’ve abandoned my old thoughts, my what-ifs, my regrets.
I carry that weight every day, unseen, unnoticed.
I may seem like a new person now, but this— this is only a disguise, a mask required for today.
A disguise that, when unzipped, reveals a little boy pretending to be grown.
I have walked away from old friends, discarded habits and leisure, and even abandoned dreams I may never conquer— because I cannot take more risks at this point in my life.
This is not a change of heart, not neglect of what I love. This is me, with no choice but to move forward, blindfolded, trusting the timelines of uncertainty.
