“And a one… and a two…! Gah!” Inigo rubbed his butt as he failed a twirl again and whimpered. “How does mother do this so easily…?” It wasn’t until the sixth time he tripped and fell that he heard someone approach him. “Gah…! W-Who’s there..?!” The little boy scrambled to the nearest tree, scared of whoever was with him.
“Inigo dear?” Olivia looked at her son and chuckled slightly. “What are you doing dancing at this time..? You know that it’s dangerous to dance in the dark…” She sighed and walked over to him, patting his head and dusted him off before picking him up into her arms.
He merely whimpered and held onto her. “It’s not fair.. I’ve seen you dance many times before in darker places than this.. how do you dance so perfectly…? I just can’t get those moves right…”
“Y-You’ve been watching me dance…?!” The dancer blushed madly then tried to compose herself. “I uhm… t-that’s not important.. what’s important was that you should practice. Everything revolves around practice. Like training. Do you think that everyone else just sits on their butt and magically becomes better at it?”
“But Mother…” he pouted. “You still haven’t taught me the next move and I’ve been trying to mimic your moves…”
Olivia smiled and kissed his head. “Alright alright… I’ll teach you in the morning alright? This will be our final dance. After you learn that, I’ve taught you everything that I know. It’ll be up to you to learn everything alright?” She tapped his nose. “It’s getting late mister. First thing in the morning, I’ll make you a nice warm breakfast then we can spend time together learning the dances!”
“Yay! I’ll be a good boy and go to sleep now! You better promise Mother! I really, really want to learn how to dance like you!” Inigo smiled brightly at his mother and gave her a big hug.
“Aww. Thanks Inigo. I’m sure that you’ll be a great dancer.. even better than me.”
“But you’ll always be the best dancer in my heart! I love you mother~!”
“I love you too Inigo.”

“Mother…?” He stared blankly as Chrom’s soldiers brought her body back to the castle. He couldn’t believe it.. he was in a bad mood because she didn’t wake him up like she said that she would but left him breakfast so he spent all this time practicing the moves that he did learn from Olivia until she got back but this… He didn’t want her to come back like this…!
“Mother no!!!” Inigo ran towards her body, crying loudly and jumped onto her, holding onto her tightly while crying. He was forced off as Lucina and the other children tried to comfort him. “Mother… I… I trusted you…” he gripped onto his shirt and cried harder.
“Was last night really.. our final dance together…?”
