Lungs.

On the radio yesterday the presenter told a story about his friend who smokes. She had gone to the doctors with health complaints and he understandably told her to give up smoking for a month and come back. 

He scanned her lungs before and after this period. He accused her of lying about giving up smoking, but she had not touched a cigarette. But the fact of the matter was, her lungs were worse. He asked what else she had being doing in the month period.

She had taken up jogging in London.

The pollution levels in London are such that running is worse for you than smoking. How shocking is that.
