as far as im aware my Most Unpopular Opinion on hi/nata is that i just flat out dont ship koma/hina, which is i guess a VERY unpopular opinion but i dont have much to say about it. i just…….. dont. i think part of it is that i like ko/maeda as a character but he just doesnt resonate with me that much and he’s not among my list of favorite characters. i’ve noticed most people who ship koma/hina absolutely adore ko/maeda and im just… not one of those ppl. he’s a good character but personally speaking? i just… don’t fully understand the massive amounts of hype surrounding him as opposed to other characters similar to him from other franchises, or even other characters within the same game

another one might be that hi/nata is still, imo, the best male protag of dr?? sorry eggy and shoe itchy i love you guys but hi/natas my main squeeze and i adore him

another unpopular opinion?? in dr2 without the free time events there is little about hi/nata and na/nami’s relationship that is implied to be romantic. theres just the scene w her swimsuit, and thats physical attraction (and hes a teenage boy seein Tiddy so like. that doesnt mean they have a romantic connection at that moment)

i’m also super salty over the fact that the only reason certain koma/hina stans might brag abt koma/hina being “canon” and how it “won” is bc na/nami was killed off twice, once in a super misogynistic blatant fridging. so, like, congrats your ship “won” because a woman was brutally murdered and then not allowed to be revived likely literally EVERY OTHER CHARACTER IN HER GAME WHO DIED? i guess??? but this is more about the attitudes of fandoms towards female characters than it is anything about hajeem or even abt koma/hina

(anybody who brags about their ship “winning” is bound to be incredibly obnoxious, but in this case it especially bugs me.)

Burn Dusty Burn

Mastermind AUs? Not a major fan. Specifically, as if they were hosting a killing game. It’s mostly a bias on my part, especially since I myself don’t have one nor plan to have one, but I kinda just find it really difficult to see EVERY character becoming the respective mastermind for each of their killing games. I’m probably uncreative in that sense, but I dunno. Just not a fan for alternate MM killing game AUs.
