"I said that this mask is mine! And I'm never giving it back!" Koishi screeched at the girl, getting rather defensive over a simple wood carving. Koishi had never gotten this defensive about anything ever since she closed her eye, so her attitude was as much of a shock to her, as it was to the girl of sixty six, minus one, masks.

Naturally, there could be risk of it being utterly mundane, but then again... it's something to explore and mould into something that makes Alice more than she already is, no?

She waves around Kokoro's old mask of hope. "Nyeh nyeh~" She mocked, sticking out her tounge. "You're never getting this back!"

"..I hear people are saying it is your birthday, Koishi. Here," silently Kokoro would hand over what appeared to be a very soft piece of cloth. "Unwrap it." the menreiki added; inside of the cloth was a pretty necklace.

"Uhm yes, it is."

Koishi looked at the gift, not sure about why Kokoro would give her something for her birthday. After all, they barely knew each other.

"Thank you miss Kokoro, but you shouldn’t have to…" She started saying while gently unwrapping the cloth around it. Just the piece of cloth would have made a great present for Koishi, but she certainly wasn’t expecting what was inside.

"Ah! T-this is…is it really for me?! I mean, c-can I keep it?! It looks like something expensive and hard to get!" Well, when you’re a member of a hated race living in a isolated mountain everything is hard to get.
