Lila held onto her coffee for dear life, as she hurried across the shop quickly but quietly not wanting to draw more attention to herself. It was way too early to exist and she just wanted to crawl back into bed and sleep for hours – but no she’d had to be impulsive and sign up for a sunrise yoga class. Making her way to one of the occupied tables, her empty palm found the surface as she quickly took a seat.
“Look, I know this might sound strange and I wouldn’t normally ask since I can handle things like this myself, but somehow I don’t feel like my brain is awake enough to deal with all that.” She said in a single breath, one hand waving madly into the air; the other hand clenched tighter around her cup. “That weird guy over there can’t take a hint when a girl’s uninterested and refuses to leave the table that I was at. Even after I said ‘no’ and 'leave me the hell alone’ – well it was more like: ‘no I'm sorry’ and ‘this table is occupied’, but you know same thing. I don't know how much clearer than that I can be, so just – is it okay if i sit here for a while? Please say it is you are my ONLY hope..”
