What's one thing you noticed/realized about this episode that you hadn't before?

Chiyo is correct. Other main causes include destruction of habitat due to development, dogs, and traps set for boar and crabs. Iriomote mountain cats are currently listed as critically endangered and there's only about 100 left in the world. D:

Oh! I hadn't realized what breed Mr. Tadakichi was. I don't know much about dogs (had a cat growing up) but Great Pyrenees look like very nice (large!) dogs. :)

Angelic Layer: Episode 15

Episode 15: "Shirahime Versus Suzuka! Secret of the Ice Machine" Before watching this episode, on a scale of 1-10, how much are you looking forward to seeing it again? Oh...how about an 8.

Great scene. Lots of emotion displayed by Hatoko. Least favorite moment of course because who likes seeing five-year-olds cry?

What's one thing you noticed/realized about this episode that you hadn't before?

Considering the arrangement of the leaves is the same, I think the animators just took the background with the cherry blossom trees, changed the colours and removed the branches to make the second background, with a few minor details changed at the ground. To be honest I'm not sure if these two backgrounds are meant to be the same location at different seasons or not.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate this episode? I forgot the actual fight was only one hit. ._.; Back down to a 5. Celebrate it! Keeping with the tradition of my DC Rewatch Project, here's a haiku. Suzuka loses!
