Haute Route 2019 - Meidpass by Steve Kody Via Flickr: I celebrated my birthday in 2019 by hiking the Walkers Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt. This photo was taken on my ninth day. This is the view from the Meidpass. Off to the right is the approach trail from the Hotel Weisshorn, just visible in the distance. To the left is the high alpine meadows above the town of Gruben.
