Can you explain to me what's going on? I haven't heard a word about Mexico in the news I didn't even know there was something going on wtf

Hey, sorry for replying so late, I've been kinda busy.

A few months ago, in September 26th, 43 students from a place called Iguala in Guerrero from the college Ayotzinapa, went missing and some other six people were killed on the spot. The thing is the police from Iguala took them becasue they were going to protest (even if they were, the police can't do that, it's completley wrong, but the police in Mexico is very corrupt) and probably handed them over to a drug cartel, right now they are presumed dead and the governmet said they found the remains of their bodies, along with thousands of unidentified bodies.

There have been many protests in Mexico City and these protests started peacefully, but anarchists groups got mixed up in them (they were probably sent by a political patry, it has happened before in Mexico) and it turned violent.
