Animal AU!
“Baby?” Alex called into the house listening out for you. After a few seconds he heard your paws hitting the wood floors as you scampered over to him. “There you are,” he laughed giving you scratches behind your ears, just the way you liked.
“Were you good today?” he asked giving you baby talk.
You barked in reply, trying to jump up and lick his face. “Yah, no kisses today~” he said standing up. “I’ve still got makeup on,” he chuckled moving to the kitchen with you scampering after him.
You barked again when you saw him go into the fridge to pull out some fresh cuts for you. “Steak for dinner?” he asked knowing you’d bark in answer no matter what.
Your bark greeted his ears and he grinned reaching down to pat your head before moving to prepare his steak.
::::::::::::
“Yah, did you really mess up all these papers?” Myung Han mumbled to himself as he looked at the mess that was now his desk when only this morning it had been perfectly organized.
You meowed as you padded into the room in greeting, jumping up onto his desk where he furrowed his brows and pursed his lips. “You’re lucky you’re cute, you know that?” he asked you as you butt your head against his hand, waiting for scritches.
You meowed in answer, that had he not wanted his desk a mess, he shouldn’t have left all that paper to entice you. Myung Han eventually scratched your head before picking you up to go lay on his bed. You purred as you settled on his chest, letting your eyes shut of their own accord.
Every time Myung Han would move, you would open one eye to stare at him. He’d laugh and give you a guilty smile and you wouldn’t close your eye again until you saw him close his. Then, you watched him as he tried to peek one eye open to find you staring at him.
“God, it’s like you KNOW,” he huffed, absentmindedly petting you before letting his eyes shut finally allowing himself to fall asleep.
:::::::::::
“If you pull on your leash one more time, we’re going home,” Sung Gu groaned. He’d been having a hard week, the girl that you didn’t like dumped him, and his work was getting hard. You felt bad for your human. You rest your head on his knee as he sat on the park bench, almost seeing nothing.
He reached out and pet the top of your head, scratching behind your ear, “at least I have you,” he breathed.
You barked in answer and sat up to rest your paws on his leg, you inched your way forward and sniffed at his pocket. “You just want treats, don’t you?” he laughed.
You blinked up at him, it had felt like forever since you heard him laugh. You jumped excitedly and tugged on the leash a little, making his face go dark again. “Let’s go,” he sighed standing up and grabbing hold of your leash tightly.
Try as you might, you tried to hold him back, standing your ground, this made him sad it seemed, as he turned back to you with water in his eyes. He knelt down and spoke softly, “I haven’t been giving you much attention have I?”
You barked in answer and saw his brilliant smile. “C’mon, let’s go home,” he smiled down at you before placing a kiss on your head. You barked and happily pulled him along as you lead him to his favorite café before that girl made him start going to a new one instead.
::::::
“You’re so fluffy~” Young Jun coed as he cuddled into your side.
You purred in response, turning away from him when he got too close to your stomach. “Why don’t you love me?” he complained when he tried to wrap his arms around you so he cuddle closer to you.
You moved away from him to settle on another area of his bed until you felt him moving around to try and cuddle you again. You loved your human, you did, but there were times when you wished Young Jun would get another human so that he could cuddle them whenever he wanted.
You eventually gave up trying to catnap when you saw that Young Jun was going to purse you until he got his cuddles, so you hid under the bed, where he couldn’t get you. You waited until you were sure he was asleep and peeked out after a good hour or so.
You chanced a peek up to see him smiling down at you. Oh shit.
Day 9 (Alex)
Prev
“Where is it?” you huffed, rummaging through your bag. You had uncharacteristically thrown your wallet into your book bag and now you were desperately trying to find it.
“What happened?” Alex asked as you grew frantic in your search.
“It’s gone,” you moaned plopping down to stare at the bag.
“What is?”
“My life.”
“What?”
“It’s gone. It’s all over,” you lamented.
“What’s gone?” Alex tried again.
“My wallet!” you cried into your hands as the weight of your lost wallet closed in on you.
“Um..”
“No! Don’t say it! I’m a total idiot,” you groaned, pulling your cellphone out of your back pocket.
“It’s right here,” Alex answered lifting your wallet off the table beside you.
You coughed and cleared your throat. “I knew that. I was making sure you were paying attention,” you answered smoothing your sweater and repacking your bag.
“Sure,” Alex chuckled trying to hide his smile from you.

Day 8 (Young Jun)

“How about this one?” you asked Young Jun as you walked near the next tree.
This one was just your height, “it’s too short,” he snorted.
“And this one?”
“Too wimpy.”
“What about this one?” you smiled as this one was just his height.
“Too skimpy,” he scrunched up his nose as the tree.
“Alright,” you sighed spotting one that you thought was just perfect. You placed your hands over his eyes steering the young idol towards the one that you spotted. “What about this one?”
You removed your hands from his eyes and smiled proudly at the way his mouth hung open. “It’s perfect!” he crowed. He laughed and turned to give you a strong hug and move to claim the tree before someone else spotted it too.

Day 6 (Alex)
Prev
It was Monday. You sighed, looking over at the city blanketed in white. Normally the snow was enough to have you bubbling with excitement. But alas, it was Monday.
“What are you moping about?” Alex asked with a deep chuckle that reverberated through his chest that was pressed against your back.
“I want to go outside,” you lamented.
“So let’s go,” he smiled, already tugging on your wrist.
“But I have to study,” you whined.
“You’ve been studying all day. Let’s go,” he smiled more, seeing your resolve faltering.
“If I fail, you are explaining to my parents why I failed,” you answered with a wide grin after reaching for your coat and beanie.
“Gladly!” he called over his shoulder, already running ahead of you, out the door.

Day 5 (Sung Gu)
prev
“Yah! It’s too hot!” you grumbled yanking your scarf off, slightly burning your neck in the process.
“Whoa there tiger,” Sung Gu laughed at you. “I just finished making hot chocolate… do you not want any…?”
You sighed and huffed. Of course you wanted some. Hot chocolate was your undoing. Well… sometimes.
Sung Gu leaned forward and placed a chaste kiss to your lips. You fell into his arms easily, even when his hands found your waist squeezing gently. You pulled away, “I want hot cocoa~” you smiled widely.
“Aish,” he blushed at how cute you looked. “Fine,” he answered moving away to serve you a glass, topping it with 6, not 5, marshmallows, whipped cream, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
You moved into the empty living room, it was much cooler here, almost too cool. But the mug of hot cocoa warmed you up perfectly as you cocooned yourself in some blankets, sipping at the hot drink unaware of Sung Gu’s loving gaze as he watched you intently.
It was times like this when he fell for you more than he would ever admit to the boys.
He was so whipped.

Day 4 (Young Jun)

“It’s freezing out here!” Young Jun squealed, pulling you closer into his side as you exited the coffee shop to now walk home.
“Yah, it’s not so bad,” you smiled. “It’s snowing.”
Young Jun smiled at you. He was always amazed by your ability to see the brighter side of things. He felt he was a pretty optimistic person, but even so, you outdid him with the way you always had a smile and you always saw the good in things.
His cheeks were tinged red from the cold, or from being so close to you, he had no idea. But he knew for a fact his face got even redder once you two had taken shelter from the falling snow that was beginning to pick up.
You were standing under mistletoe.
“Look!” you clapped happily up at the little branch dangling in the door way.
“Yah~” Young Jun blushed when he realized you had noticed.
The little storefront was closed and you took your time turning to face him. You smiled when you saw the tips of his ears tinged a slight pink. “Are you nervous?” you joked.
“Wah? No!” he tried to huff and puff up his chest, but you saw right threw him and he knew it. He placed his hand on your cheek and leaned in slowly, looking you in the eyes.
Suddenly a dog ran to the pair of you making you jump apart. “What a cute dog!” you smiled, leaning down to pet it.
“Aigoo! I’m so sorry, she’s so energetic,” a cute boy apologized to you.
“Oh it’s okay,” you smiled petting the dog.
“Yah, let’s go,” Young Jun grumbled.
“Okay,” you smiled taking his hand and leaving the boy with his new puppy.

Day 3 (Sung Gu)
prev | next
You sat with your hands over your face to cover your eyes as Sung Gu had instructed you to do. “Yah! How long are you going to take?” you grumbled.
“No peeking!” he reminded.
“I won’t,” you promised.
“Okay,” he let out a soft breath, like he was preparing himself for something. “Now you can look.”
You removed your hands from over your face and tried to stop yourself from gaping at your boyfriend. He may be the leader of High4, but his game was not strong with picking out sweaters.
“What do you think?” he made a little turn, showing you every angle of the horrid sweater. “I got it today!”
“Um,” you chewed on your bottom lip, trying to break it easy. “It’s a nice…color?”
It was, in fact, a very nice shade of scarlet red, but that didn’t save the sweater from being absolutely terrible. “I’m glad you like it! Cause they had a matching one and I just HAD to get it for you!”
“Oh, no way,” you laughed nervously. “You’re kidding.”
“I thought it’d be cute to wear for your office party!” he answered excitedly, totally not noticing your dread.
‘If anyone asks, I can say we’re dressing up like this as a joke,’ you tried to console yourself. “What a great idea honey,” you answered. Honestly, you didn’t care. As long as Sung Gu was with you with his sweet smile and his reassuring words.
“I’m glad you like it,” he smiled wrapping you up in his arms to give you a sweet kiss.
