Felt good to get out & run after resting since Tuesday’s injury scare. Also first run in new trainers. They felt light as a feather, comfortable, but not bouncy or cloud like. I didn’t want to to go too far, squeezing in a run tonight as it’s a bend a busy day & while I was up I didn’t go out this morning, took the kids swimming instead. Everything, calf’s, hips, ankles, thighs, all felt tight. Hamstring okay & I feel much better for getting out. The first mile; I didn’t mean o go off as fast, but very much wind assisted as very blowy on the quay and on my back. The wind kept up around baiter, as did my pace. I couldn’t, not too surprisingly, keep that pace for the third mile. However I will get back to regularly run sub 30 min 5km’s. I need to if I’m going to break two hours in a half this summer. Sets me up nicely for next week, I’ll try to get out Tuesday morning & Thursday evening & something a little longer Saturday or Sunday. I’ll be looking it out a turbo session in too. However going to Stratford upon Avon Saturday to see family & then on to the NEC Sunday for the running show. I’m sure a great chance to see loads of people & new gadgets! Could be a lot of selfies going on & insta stories! #running #runner #lonelygoatrunningclub #runnersofinstagram #high5fuelled #runnerscommunity #instarunner #adidasboost #workoutsnap #strava #weightlossjourney #runstagram #rundorset #poole #ukrunchat #runhappy #newboots #igrunners #tomtom #thenationalrunningshow #benrunnerpants #adidas #sundayrunday (at Pool Quay) https://www.instagram.com/benrunnerpants/p/BslSNPFAU4t/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=pihabkhbgdh6
