Danger: “Ye Ought to be Teachers” (Hebrews 5:11-14), Hillsdale's Wed. Bible Study, March 11, 2026

Pastor Smith concludes his study of Hebrews 5 with the third warning found in the opening chapters of Hebrews: "A Failure to Spiritually Mature."

The study starts with a short review of how Jesus Christ is introduced in Hebrews 4 as the "Great High Priest." Hebrews 5:1-4 describes the qualities of the high priest.

Hebrews 5:5-10 affirms Christ's qualification to serve as the believer's High Priest. Hebrews 5 concludes with a warning, emphasizing that those who are spiritually dull and hard of hearing struggle to understand the crucial doctrine that Jesus Christ is the believer's High Priest and Savior.
