Colors Above the Clouds
One of the standout chapters in the Experience Lima & Cusco 08 Days tour is the early-morning hike to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). At over 5,000 m, its vivid stripes of red, green and gold are a natural masterpiece. You’ll depart at dawn from Cusco, breakfast in Cusipata, ascend the trail and reach the peak just in time for sunrise. The sense of accomplishment at the summit is matched only by the sight itself. The thin air, the wide open sky, the surreal colours they combine to create a moment of pure wonder. Rainbow Mountain is nature’s showpiece.
