Sophisticated- VXXIXCIII (5/21/93)
The art of story telling is alive and well. That is evident in DC’s own Sophisticated. The young emcee has created a peace of work that is a tale of a love lost, and the achievement and drive that it creates within. As far as young rappers on the rise, Sophisticated is breathe of fresh air from the crowd of “trap” music and gangster rap that crowds his DMV home, giving music fans an ode to Wale, the current patriarch of the district. Bar for Bar, one of the best on the album is Crystal Castles featuring King Sinatra. Sophisticated is surely one to look out for, and Back2Pluto is proud to announce that we will working with him on future collaborations.
