Two and a half months ago the Manzanita Trail was covered in snow, now it's covered in wildflowers. What a treat to rehike one of my most favorite trails under such new conditions. I love the way the southern Mojave Desert smashes into the northern San Gabriel Mountains to create this beautifully unique environment in the Angeles National Forest.
