Sorry you're having to put up with shitty family idiocy, I sorta know the feeling (regarding my sexuality, not gender) and I wish there was something I could do to help - like give you a nice big apartment somewhere where you can look after doggos and walk around forests and kiss Martin Freeman whenever you like. TJLC matters so much to me, I've loved the show since it first aired and as the show went on I think ASIB was the ep that helped me appreciate that I'm bi. I've met amazing people online and IRL because of our love of two characters being in love. Heck, a friend of mine even wrote her dissertation on queer victorian literature with reference to Sherlock! I've had terrible mental health over the last few years, and in a dark spot in May, talking about TJLC was a much needed ray of sunshine!
