Time is Waning
It’s been a confusing yet eye opening couple weeks. I have questioned my decisions and pondered my situation. I have realized how much I love my friends and the people around me. I have realized the things I have taken for granted which I will soon be leaving all behind for a foreign place. I have realized today my decisions took more than a year and I have no reason to doubt anymore. This is an opportunity I have taken and it will probably be the best decision of my life. I can’t wait.
I remember the days in Taiwan when I had to fight through the struggles of being labeled as ‘white’. I remember the days in the U.S. when I didn’t even know how to unlock my locker. When they labeled me ‘asian’. But the walls in life have made me stronger. I can’t wait to adapt to something new and continue my quest of becoming a better person.
This makes my stay in Taiwan: 13yrs. Iowa: 7yrs. U.K.: 1yr.
Most importantly, these past few days I have learned the importance of focusing on higher things. None of any would be possible without God. I have been so blessed and thankful for all I have received. Opportunity to meet so many new and interesting people. God has given me emotional strength to forget and proceed in the moment. He has given me physical strength through rock climbing. My accomplishments climbing have exceeded my own belief. So shout out to the Father Almighty. My goal is to climb the highest peak in England, Scafell Pike, my first semester. Then I want to hopefully climb the highest peak in the U.K., Ben Nevis, the second semester. I have no idea what to expect. These things can never be predicted.
None the less, I haven’t been up to much besides work and visiting with people. Plus the occasional readings of random books. So I apologize for the dry sauced post. I’ll probably be out of posting till next week. Thanks for reading. You are the bomb.com.
