Alright, let’s be real. Waking up five in the morning and throwing on a singlet to run half of my 26.2 miles in the 50 degree darkness is not the fun part. But, these moments from the second part are. Major shoutouts to my wife, @pineapple.yogi first and foremost for biking all the way into Manhattan with hydration and escorting me all the way back to Brooklyn even though she had to TEACH a yoga class that morning. To @jazzybklyn for taking the train all the way up to the Bronx to run the last 16 MILES with me. To @jgwessler for jumping in for a couple of miles after he RACED a 5K on Randall’s Island and scooped up a post race goodie bag for me. To one of my best buds, Larry for taking Landon out in his little tracksuit to hand out those power up high fives! They really work! And to everyone who tried to track me (even though the NYRR Racing app didn’t work) and cheered me on! THANK YOU ❤️ I could not have done it without your support. 👉 Speaking of support, now that I got my Virtual @nycmarathon out of the way and understand how important support is - let me know when and where you are running your race so I can support you!
