The Master sighed, pressing back into the over-stuffed couch even more, he didn't want to have to explain this again to her. "Look," He said, "I am a 940 year old Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation Kasterborus. I have a time machine that I built after my ex dropped me on a planet three years before I used the Chameleon Arc on myself, making me be born again as a human. I have a drumming in my head that tells me to kill people which was put there by the Lord President, Rassilon."

AU: Nerdy College Student [Open]

John Smith A.K.A the Doctor was walking toward his first class. It was the first day of his Junior year and already he had two threats by his normal average everyday bullies. He held his quantum mechanics book in one hand and his other hand was in his pocket. He walked fast with his head down trying not to meet anyone's eye. The Doctor came up to the science building and entered without one single thing happen to him. He walked to his class and took his seat all the way in the back. He placed his bag down next to his feet and took out his notebook and pencil. He sat there and waited for class to start. He opened his book and engulfed himself in the fascinating nature of quantum mechanics. He didn't notice someone approach him.

The Master was a Time Lord. He was a time traveler and very in tuned to anything relating to the Doctor. The Doctor was his arch nemesis, the one person he'd try to beat again and again. The only other Time Lord in existence.

So, of course he'd heard about the woman who killed him. Except that wasn't right, he was supposed to kill the Doctor not some woman no one had ever heard of until his death. So, maybe, if he timed it right he could change her focus just enough so he could be the one to pull the trigger.

And that was how he began his search in time for Melody Pond. And how he found her on a busy street unrecognizable from the rest.

He slides up beside her with a smug smile. "I know who you are," He says "And I would very much like to get to know you."
