What did we do to justify this bull sticking its tongue out at us? No, we didn’t insult him, or his mother. Actually, we managed to catch this bull at just the right time as he sought food pellets from the top of the fence post. This Scottish Highlander is a breed known for its docile manner, betraying all stereotypes of wild-eyed, mad bulls around the world. We knew we’d see a lot of sheep in NZ, but didn’t realise we’d be charmed by a shaggy bull craving pats and nose scratches.
