so fucked up when people tell you how to feel about things in a rational and irrational sense as if all emotions and interest are simply things you can shift through like those big circular clothing racks at the mall like “yeah man i think for this period of my life im going to fear things that matter” like nah dude you dont just do that you just feel things indiscriminately even if theyre rational or irrational, it doesnt matter how you feel about something, it matters how you act on it, but that doesnt mean youre not allowed to talk about how you feel about things either so YEAH if my brain wants to go into fight or flight mode whenever i hear a specific phone alarm sound or when someone talks in a funny voice, but not give a damn about grades and jobs and shit no matter how hard i look into those things and try to make myself worry about them, MAYBE IT SIMPLY WILL HAPPEN AND I WILL HAVE NO SAY IN THE MATTER AND “COMIN’ DOWN TO REALITY ALREADY” HAS NO SAY IN IT ASIDE FROM THE ACTIONS I TAKE ACCORDING TO THOSE EMOTIONS
