Ben is seen swinging with his web fired from his web shooters. He’s enjoying the day and minding his own business with how quiet things have gotten around here. It was nice and it gave him a chance to take some pictures. Pictures of the buildings, parks, and the people.

Yep, it looks like today is going to be a good...suddenly his spider-sense went off and a bunch of birds flew past him causing him to crash into a building. He fell off and tries firing a web, which he managed to use just before hitting a fence and landing on the ground.

Ben looks up and sees some birds nearby cooing. “I...hate...you guys...so much...ouch...”

“Hmm, Let’s just follow the path for now, we can wander into the woods if your feeling daring a little further ahead. We should be fine if we do get lost, I have enough little spots to lurk in around here.” Dan would respond to her, still inwardly surprised this was going to even be a thing but it certainly did make a change from just skulking about alone or pursuing points of interest to his goals.

“I’ll be honest with you, I’m kinda shocked you even wanted to hang out per se....I’m not really er, the best with visitors....not that they’re unwelcome of course.”

Within moments of seeing the literal first words written down Dan couldn’t stop himself from bellowing out loudly.

“I’M NOT CUTE! What will it take to stop people calling me that! Its wrong on so many levels! I’m a demon! a freak! The words Cute and Demon don’t share any context you fools!”

After the outburst and taking a small breather to calm himself he’d read the rest of what was written, at least he hadn’t already torn it up into shreds for this serious offence of calling him the forbidden word. “Well...its nice to know someone wants to hang out....”

"Pft no i wo-" she began to tilt, her arms frantically swayed to catch her balance. "...Good first move. MY TURN!" Reeling back her fist she punched him square in the chest, with a good amount of force! Only to then let out a small whimper of pain. "Owe...T-that hurt you too right?" She pouted and rubbed her now sore knuckles.

The most reaction she got from Dan was the initial impact causing his fur to ripple slightly and his chest inching backwards from the blow somewhat, but the rest of him remained stood firm unaffected, the entire time he continued to stare at her equally as confused as before. “What’s this about Amy? If you actually wanted a fight you’d use your hammer.”

Amy appeared with her fists raised. "Fight me!" Her pose was...terrible, legs too wide apart, knees too bent, arms awkward out in front of her. "Come on! Ill kick your ass!" She huffed

“Not with a stance like that you won’t….what’s brought this on?” Dan would ask, finding both her sudden emergence and the call to battle with a rather pathetic stance just all to odd. “You’d do better with your hammer I feel….I mean look at you, I could probably just knock you over.”

As if to demonstrate how bad he expected her balance to be Dan would simply place a finger at her forehead and began to push, there wasn’t a lot of force behind it naturally but he fully expected there might be a wobble or two.

15: Kiss in the Rain

The rain was pouring down, cold enough to send a tingle down one’s spine should the liquid get to someone’s flesh. Yet Dan had always enjoyed the rain to an extent despite the wetness, it gave him a sense of relief, a calming sensation as it hit him and the world around him.

The same might not have been said for others but if it was applicable for Amy, she seemed to be holding her ground amidst the downpour with Dan despite this, he’d look on over at her quite calmly, letting a part of his far more delicate side slink out as he moved closer and gave the pink hedgette a delicate kiss on the lips, holding it for several seconds in a burst of emotion.

He’d take a few steps back awkwardly after it.

“Sorry...that was outta nowhere, I dunno what came over me...”

“Hmm?”

“I’m not sure why you’d want me too, I don’t think I’m the right person to do it for you…I mean, you could have anyone you wanted do such an act.” A gentle left hand would rise up and cup Amy just under the chin ensuring they were looking directly at one another, fingers lightly caressing one cheek in the process as if he were trying to massage her.

“I mean look at you, your really pretty honestly so I’m sure it wouldn’t take too much for you to get any person you wished to look your way.”

His eyes were looking directly into her own during this, wanting to maintain a level of connection as he continued. “But if its really me you’d like to try doing such a thing, I guess I could try? Though truth be told I’ve not got much experience in the matter.”

“So how about I just take you to dinner instead and leave it at that?”

Amy paced the dirt path as she nervously waited for her wood exploring companion to join her. "H-he would stand me up right? Not like its a date!! But!" He cheeks heated a bit as she kicked a rock. "This is where were meeting right? Dang it i even wore cute pants.." she pouted slightly as she admired her new pants of many pockets.

Before Amy’s doubts would kick in too much, the distinct sound of footsteps could be heard getting closer, where Amy would see Dan walking into view, with him needing to swerve to the side a little to avoid the rock that had been on the receiving end of her foot.

“Not a fan of rocks? Or is that how you greet people around here?” Dan would comment.

Fortunately, as it could be read across his features, he wasn’t annoyed at the near accident. Simply smiling at her as he walked on over.
