Terrified. Everyone was terrified when the news of Letty Kingsley’s death was broadcasted all over the news.
“ A body was found behind one of the dumpsters in Loxley Academy. After the autopsy, the body was identified to be Letty Kingsley, the daughter of the town mayor, and one of the best and brightest in the academy. Her autopsy showed signs of strangulation, yet no fingerprints were found. The killer is suspected to be wearing gloves at her time of death. Kingsley’s fingernails were also checked for dna samples but there was nothing but Letty’s own dna.”
Who killed Letty? Nobody knows but the I, Em, can tell you one thing- it’s one of the students.
Letty was one of the most popular in Loxley. She was popular because she was nice and trustworthy. She was friends with everyone, and everyone felt comfortable enough to confide even the worst of their secrets in her without being judged. Letty kept a diary; and just like any diary, it contained the details of every encounter, every piece of gossip, every secret, Letty was told.
Letty was smart enough to hide her diary in a place where she thought no one could find- taped under the frame of her bed. But when someone found this diary, either through a goal to read it or by chance, all hell broke loose and almost every student started receiving anonymous threats through their online student account ask boxes, chaos broke out; some friendships were severed, and some were isolated.
The anonymous person leaving the threats ended her messages with her alias, Em. Nobody knows who she is, nobody dares to find out in fear of their secret being exposed. Em has control over anyone and everyone, so you better do what she says because she has the power to ruin you. And she will.
