Things changed with the Keyblade War. Finding the true Kingdom Hearts, no matter the cost, and leading the worlds to the brink of annihilation because of something we brought onto ourselves. The darkness nearly swallowed us whole. That's why things are like this now, I think. Mostly, it's a cycle. Keeping the balance, so it doesn't tip in favor of one over the other. I'm not sure that it'll ever end. I'll do what I can.
... But in spite of all of it, I'm glad. If it wasn't for any of this, I never would've gotten the chance to know you. I just can't imagine living in some universe where I never met you. Not seeing you smile, or laugh, or even cry — it's beyond me.
