Iran - Fear no more: For days now the revolt against the Iranian regime, has spread to the universities and schools, following the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurd, that died on 16 September 2022 after three days in a coma, after her violent arrest by the notorious "morality police" for allegedly infringing hijab rules amid Iranian crackdown on women’s dress.

According to @1500tasvir on Twitter, this is the moment of defiance against the regime's rule, at a girls' school, where a Basij (militia force charged with the task of internal security and suppression of anti-government demonstrations) has been called by the school's officials to instil fear and discourage the pupils from protesting. The girls welcomed the speaker by taking off their headscarves and chanting "get lost, Basiji".
