Welp... a milestone is about to be reached, as the next time I ride my daily driver Honda Ruckus scooter, it’ll definitely pass the 10,000 mile mark. So, to celebrate the occasion 🎉 I entered the bike into the @tunerevo @portland car show coming in a couple months... I also got sponsorship from The Kings of Canna Dispensary in Portland, Oregon (Follow their page @thekocpdx ) so this will will be made into the first ever cannabis dispensary promo bike. Like the Red Bull smart cars or the monster logos race cars.. only this is a cannabis dispensaries promo vehicle 😂 lol 😝 Any cannabis brands trying to get in on this, limme know, I have sticker space available, I’d like to mark up the side like all the Honda Civis with their “NOS” or “powered by VTech” stickers, but instead, like “powered by @funkextracts “ Idk man, I’m just excited, now I have to find ways to add gold trim to the bike, as the logo defaults are gold as well. #TBT to when I used to have my @hondaruckus colored with plastidip into a hot rod theme and my friends actually answered text messages to go out riding. But it drops to mid 30 degrees, with constant rain and some snow, and all of a sudden, your text messages to go out riding go ignored. I need to look for some hardcore year round scooter riders. I was asking my bud, who also owns a @hondaruckus why he doesn’t ride his scooter in the cold. He said he wanted to take care of his ride. I feel like... why own it if you’re not gonna ride it alllll the time? I asked him if he considered his scooter “a mini motorcycle” and he said yes, which explains it, because I think of my Ruckus as a motorized mountain bike. Took my scooter for a ride today, not in the form I wanted to, lol it was in the back of a rental truck. Battery draining problem. But on the upside, was able to get these pics before leaving my scooter behind. I was supposed to buy one of these before someone told me not to and showed me the difference between a ice bear/ mad dog “ruckus clone” scooter. I thought a Honda Ruckus cost like $8-12k. At the time, a $3.5k clone seemed like the financially responsible thing to do. But I got talked out of it by someone who owned one, and for a used Ruckus for cheaper. I still like them though.
