I’m early for this @beyblade-oc-week prompt but I hope that’s okay because I couldn’t resist posting this 🫠 This is a little companion piece to the other one I did with Kai and Gou… originally I wanted to share them together for Mayblade but didn’t finish this in time. In hindsight it works out nicely because this includes an OC~

@purple-cup-cake gah this took really long for a doodle… baby Kai and his parents. No clue if those are their colours, I couldn’t seem to find refs 🤷‍♀️

I drew random, spur of the moment stuff this weekend ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌

Was talking about OC weddings with friends and my storyline is a hot mess but uhh I wanted to draw Celeste in cute wedding dresses and Kai and Tala in suits….

Another mini comic of my oc storyline… Boris convinces Celeste’s parents to let her train at the abbey, but he realizes she needs a disguise to fit in. Celeste isn’t happy about it, but…maybe it’ll make her a great blader in the end….?

Last thing I’ll squeak in for @beyblade-oc-week (even though I’m already late).

Bit of a companion/continuation to my previous piece of Celeste lying in the hospital bed with Tala/Yuriy… after he wakes up Celeste hears and rushes to see him, excited and relieved. But he remembers their fight about Volkov/Boris and is not so happy to see her…

I had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day today and so I’m doodling my comfort throuple in a random little shippy thing ugh cringe but at least I feel a bit better ;-;

*Ahem* part 2 of looking back on super old art…

I was also a fanfic writer back in the day (still kind of am? Dabbling in it? But my main thing is art…). Some of these were companion pieces with what I wrote, featuring my OC (labelled above as Sarah, but since has been renamed “Celeste”) and her team the Star Shooters (and a whole slew of other OCs that dragged the story down). It was overly ambitious, gory, and cringe with unrealistic dialogue, an underdeveloped OC and an OOC Tala… Bahaha I’m debating “re-writing” it and have a lot of ideas but not sure I want to dedicate the time to it or just draw little comics/vignettes of the story instead.

The Tala collage features a bunch of vignettes already but the gist of the story was that Kai, Tala, and Celeste (Hilanov—combination of their last names Hiwatari-Langley-Romanov at the time but Ivanov works too) were chosen to “save the world” by defeating a blading team from a Biovolt/Borg rival that wanted to use human souls as Bit Beasts. I gave him my own fanon name back then but because of my limited knowledge of Russian names it was “Romanov” but clearly “Valkov” had already made the rounds by the time I made that collage.

Those chibi ones were done with MS Paint 🤣 And I actually see those chibi ones appear in Google sometimes!

Anyway thanks for reading my random musings part 2 I’m gonna go back to drawing ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

ps don’t read my fanfic it’s terrible…. I started a VForce arc tho which actually got a bit better but then never finished it but have notebooks full of the outline for the rest and a G-Rev arc as well ヽ(￣～￣　)ノ
