Mayblade 2023 day 1: The Past
Here is the list of prompts for this year's MayBlade event! Huge thanks to all the people who submitted their ideas - I didn't use all of them, especially if they were too similar to another idea, but I will keep them for the future. The "unpopular character" prompt returns as per request (also, because there are some characters who really deserve more love)
As per last year, you do not have to follow the prompts and you can join two events if you're doing MerMay etc. The prompts are just to inspire, but all the other ideas are welcome. You can also use prompts from last year.

And also an excuse to upload the entire "kikura gen shrine" canvas, don't know why I didn't upload it before br (also isn't it literally galaxy brain to double post on a double prompt ! )
Random self-indulgent drawins of the funny shogun steel kikurage and his crab uncle who I just didn't draw as old as he should be to look like that one guy from my hero academia cuz, again, self-indulgence.
The guy on the left is my oc I've been developing since I was born but prolly too busy to really draw him more. His name, I recently decided to be Sven Yuen. His constellation is the crocodile one so his bey be like Hunter Dylus something, I'll prolly elaborate more on his own post if I ever do.
I usually just keep drawing on one large canvas.
