So I made a comment on TikTok a few days ago that was about how not standing for the national anthem isn’t a big deal and omfg people lost their shit.
I’ve gotten hundreds of comments on that post from the most hillbilly patriotic weirdos going on and on about how standing for the national anthem is actually the most important thing ever and if you don’t do it you’re a disgusting narcissistic asshole who hates America and doesn’t respect veterans or some shit.
I got a few people who messaged me privately and legit said some “kill yourself” bs.
All of this over a song.
I cannot stand the people in this fuckass country sometimes man.
