Hillbilly Half Marathon
So today I ran the Hillbilly Half Marathon in Franklin Tennessee. Once again I am not in shape to run a half. But I finished! I have to tell yall. If you get a chance to run this ran, do it. It was one of the prettiest races that I have ever ran. They advertise the Hillbilly Half as hot and hilly. They say It is one of the toughest halfs in the U.S. I believe it. At about mile 6, there is this hill, that I heard rumblings about all morning. This thing starts at mile 6 and seems to never end. That does not include all the other hills in the race. So I will continue to train and improve my time for next year. Thank God it was overcast. I don't know if I would have finished if the sun was out. So if you get a chance do this one. The scenery is beautiful and the people are amazing. But I would not thought otherwise from a race in Tennessee.
