Country school.
This is the Assembly Hall in the Hillside School building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin. It was difficult to capture the whole room (especially with a dozen tourists standing in it) but two walls are lined with windows and built-in seating. Metal planters are recessed into the window sill. The hearth forms a third wall. (The word “yield” is misspelled in the quote above the fireplace.) The balcony that forms a second level originally held the school’s library but is now administrative space. We were not able to go up there.
