Quak #3;
Hi hi. So this March 2025 l, we found out we were expecting our third child and will be due in November 2025. A little overwhelmed by the thought of having number three, but the support and encouragement from my family says otherwise.
I brought Hilyah to one of the ultrasound appointment and she was so happy. Just a simple new experience for her. Now she goes around telling people that "adik"(baby) looked at her and smiled. I could she how excited she was for the baby's arrival.
Hayden on the other hand.... Well, let's just say it took him awhile to catch on. He tends to play rough, and he did last week. I told him to stop and "Mummy, cannot play rough now. Mummy carrying Adik Baby." And of course, his first question was "Where?". I had to explain to him that Baby was in my tummy and sleeping. Even showed him some ultrasound pictures to make it make sense for him. Ever since then, he is more gentle. He would randomly give me leg and back massages and asks "nice? Baby happy, mummy?". Also, now every time he wakes up from his sleep or naps, he would come to me and ask "Mummy, baby come out already?". He is so excited to be an Abang. I love it.
All these affirmation is just a cheery on top of this tough pregnancy. As I get older, I can feel that I am much weaker than I was with first two kids. The water retention and back ache is arriving sooner than I expected.
I am falling ill much easier too and the medication that the doctor have provided is just not strong enough for a 24hours recovery. I tend to need about 3days long to recover or even longer.
Age is really catching up with me and there is still so much I would like to do and teach my Baby #3 when it's out.
Till then, all your thoughts and prayers for a smooth pregnancy and delivery will be very much appreciated.
