          none  of  it  needs  to  be  talked  about.  the  words  of  the  faceless  stranger  are  simply  left  hanging  in  the  air  between  them.  it  doesn't  matter  whether  he  heard  them  or  not.  they're  only  a  small  addition  to  the  words  left  unspoken.  for  now.  

          he  takes  the  glass  with  a  simple  nod  of  gratitude  –  the  burn  of  the  liquid  against  his  throat  does  wonders  in  washing  away  the  tension.  

          “  are  you  busy?  ”  part  of  it  is  rhetorical.  a  simple  question  to  not  make  his  next  words  sound  entirely  like  an  order.  “  you  should  have  a  drink  with  me.  ”
