So, Harry supposed, it really wasn’t a wonder that she’d also, apparently, decided to spoil him beyond belief by booking him in the most opulent (and, quite honestly, excessively romantic) part of the property.

Offhandedly, it occurred to him that it might be a tad much for Noah to be sharing a room that held, not only a solitary California King bed but also an outdoor volcanic stone tub, with his father, but…

Eh, Harry shrugged. Noah would get over it. It’s not like they had to take the flower baths. (Together.)

Politely, Harry let Estelle continue her introductory speech elegantly listing out the rest of the villa’s amenities for his benefit – the wooden decks that led straight into the ocean, the private infinity pool, full use of the spa, etc, etc. But, by the time she mentioned the ‘modest’ personal swim-up bar, Harry was desperately ready to soak up the sun and saltwater (and also about three to five mojitos).

Thankfully, the mechanical sound of the printer seemed to mark the end of it, Estelle’s movements quick and efficient as she programmed a key card and slipped everything neatly into a cardboard holder.

It was a miracle that Harry managed to wait for her to slide everything to him across the desk, but somehow he did. Nevermind that he practically grabbed it off the table once it got to him. But, if Estelle noticed, she didn’t let on, the picture of professionalism as she smiled and said, “The other Mr. Styles-Tomlinson already checked in earlier this morning. If either of you need anything at all, the staff at the front desk is available 24 hours through the hotel intercom. Also, your larger luggage will be brought to your villa for you shortly.”

“Thank you very, very much,” Harry said, smiling back genuinely, his fingers already tightening on the handle of his carry-on.

“Our pleasure,” she answered kindly. Harry only just caught her last gracious smile as he turned away and began to walk towards his room. “We do hope you and your husband enjoy your stay.”

Husband? Harry widened his eyes in disbelief but didn’t turn around, for fear of how incredulously delighted his smile already was. He could feel his cheeks turning pink from the thrill as he ducked his head a little and tucked a curl behind his ear. Did Estelle really think he looked young enough to be married to a twenty-nine year old? He gasped. How scandalous!

He loved it.
