My 2,000th post!!!  What could I do that could be big enough to celebrate such a feat?  Only a 2-week long festival could possibly do it, and so I proudly announce: muffin-cup fest!

These next two weeks will celebrate all hamsters in muffin-cups (also called “cupcake liners” - which means that this celebration also includes HAMSTERS IN CUPCAKES which are in cupcake liners (luckily not real ones though!))  

Q) WHEN WILL IT START??? 

A) the HIMC (Hamsters-in-Muffin-Cups) Festival starts TODAY!

Q) But is that enough time for me to enter a SUBMISSION?

A) Submissions are highly sought and will be published as they are received, even if they don’t fit the theme schedule or if they arrive after the festival is over.  

Q) What is this THEME SCHEDULE you mentioned?

A) The first week will be devoted to photography.  The second week will be structured as outlined below.  There may not just be one post per day - many days will have multiple postings - but each day will have a specific theme. 

2nd week Schedule:* 

1) HIMC Metaphotography

2) HIMC Videos & GIFs 

3) HIMC Photoshops (Digitally Edited Photographs)

4) HIMC Illustrations (including Digital Illustrations)

5) HIMC Crafts  

6) HIMC Products (other than fashion)

7) HIMC Fashion (Part 1: Human Fashion, Part 2: Skirts, Part 3: Hats, Part 4: Some fashion-faux-pas “Muffin-Top” hams to end the festival and transition us back to regular cups)

So Let’s Get Started!.....

* NOTE: this schedule only includes pre-queued posts. Any submissions that I receive during the week will be posted as they are received. So don’t worry if you submit a photograph after the 1st week, or an Illustration after the Illustration themed day; your submission will still be posted. Submissions do not even need to fit into any of the listed categories/themes. If you want to submit HIMC cosplay or HIMC ASCII art or HIMC sculpture, all the better!
