Our Four-Legged Friends [closed @ Hime]
If there was one thing that could be said about this city, it was that there was an absolute plethora of people within it. Of all shapes and sizes, from all walks of life. Many of them seemed to be non- or only partially human, with tells ranging from oddly shaped ears and teeth to differently coloured skin. It was very alien and extraordinarily fascinating to the alchemist, making it something of a little hobby for him in trying to spot these people.
Of course, the one before him was way too easy to point out. Not only because of the rather animal-like ears on her head, the most obvious thing to note was her quadruped status. Four horse legs, attached to a horse body, attached to what was presumably that of a human girl. Somewhat aesthetically pleasing, if that was your sort of thing. Then, of course, there were the hangers-on. Young men hassling the girl, calling her names and threatening violence. How boorish.
Approaching quickly, the alchemist cleared his throat and stared the centaur's harassers down. "It would be best if you refrained from any other comment, before you force someone's hand."
