The Hibagon is a cryptid said to live on Mount Hiba in Japan's Hiroshima Prefecture. Said to stand around five feet tall, covered in bristly black hair with large white hands and feet, it is often compared to the North American Bigfoot and the Himalayan Yeti.

Sightings of the Hibagon have been reported since the early 1970s, though it has never been said to attack humans. Footprints measuring ten inches long and six inches wide were found by a group of Japanese Boy Scouts.

ヒバゴン (Hibagon)

Hibagon or Hinagon is the Japanese equivalent of Bigfoot. It is said to be a black creature with white hands and large white feet, standing about five feet tall. It has a snub nose, large deep glaring eyes and is covered with bristles. Sightings have been reported in forested, mountainous areas of the country around Mt. Hiba.
