Hey ssoooooo! I want to know about Xal's childhood! (And in between the moments when the parents were pressuring that him and Freyja be engaged) But like, what was his first romance? How did he discover his kinks? How young was he when he started talking back to his parents? (I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING) Did he get along with other kids in general?

OKAY THIS WAS SENT SO LONG AGO I AM SO SORRY GRID ;AAAAA; But I shall now reply under the cut :>>

As a kid, Xal was a kind and curious boy. Always wanting to play with others, pretty outgoing and fun. But then came his sister Anna, and he took care of her, playing with her and introducing her to his friends. I think by this time he already met Freyja, and she would often be invited to play with him at home. Then came the twins and the family was complete.

Xal got along with most kids, he’s not very difficult to live with. As he grew up, he started having to go to balls and noble parties and such. Which he detested. Women coming to him, squeezing his face, pinching his cheeks and trying to set him up with their daughters. Same happened with Freyja, when her mother pushed them together. They were cousins and very close friends, so they’d often run out of parties to get away from these situations. He’d teach her how to ride a horse, take her to the field to watch stars and such. He really liked Freyja and was very sad when he couldn’t see her anymore.

So before going to the Circle, he wrote a letter to her, explaining that he wasn’t abandoning her and that she could contact his parents and they’ll help her come see him at the Circle. His depature was heartbreaking for the family, especially between the siblings who were very close to each other.

His first romance ever was at the Circle ; he was around 14. He fell for this rivaini girl, same age as him. Olympe was her name. She had beautiful hazel eyes and dark brown curls, and a lovely smile. It didn’t last long, a few weeks at most. But he never forgot her. Then he had two other girlfriends before ending up with Miral. The young healer mage left a good impression and they developped feelings for each other. 

Of course Miral is the one who initiated him to making out and to some of his current kinks. They didn’t do much though. Xalynir was still a bit prude about this.

As for talking back to his parents… well I guess maybe around 11-12 years old ? He didn’t have much time with his parents as a teenager, so he didn’t really have the opportunity to enter a rebellion phase :p I don’t think he’s ever done a proper teenage angst considering he wasn’t with his familt for most of his life, and he was quiet docile at the Circle. Most teachers were kind and just, so he ddidn’t have the opportunity to rebel against anything. It came later though, when he left the Circle >.> He’s still a kid, poor boy xD
